Yvonne Bettkober is an expert in corporate development, strategic organizational design and digital business models. Amazon executive Yvonne Bettkober has been hired by Volkswagen Group to head organizational development and transformation. Bettkober moves to VW from Amazon Web Services, where she spent three and a half years as general manager building up the new business unit in Switzerland and Austria. Prior to that, she worked for Microsoft for 13 years in Switzerland and Africa, restructuring software sales and establishing new organizational structures and processes. She led the transformation of Microsoft Switzerland from product and license to service business, redesigning structures, processes, KPIs and incentive models. Most recently, Bettkober was responsible for new business development and technical sales. Bettkober "is a transformation expert with a proven track record and has many years of experience in the areas of corporate development, strategic organizational design and digital business models," VW Group said in a statement . Bettkober will take up the VW post on April 1 and will report to Hauke Stars, Member of the Board of Management for IT and Organization.
