Vietnam’s Viettel AI and the UAE’s Presight have agreed to jointly advance the development of Applied AI and digital transformation initiatives in Vietnam. Viettel AI is a member of the Hanoi-based Military Industry and Telecoms Group ( Viettel ); while Presight, a publicly traded company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), is the region’s leading big-data analytics company powered by AI. It combines big data, analytics, and AI expertise to serve all sectors. Both sides signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday in the presence of visiting Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh who chaired a roundtable between businesses of both countries. Under the MoU, Presight and Viettel AI will enhance collaboration to leverage technology, data and innovative approaches to address challenges related to transportation, safety and environmental impacts. Key areas of collaboration will include digital development initiatives; enterprise and generative AI development; customer and industry-tailored big data analytics solutions; deployment of AI-powered solutions for enterprises and smart cities; and collaboration on AI workforce development.
