Tomorrow, May 23 at 10 a.m. EDT, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation will host the first-ever Diia in DC event. Diia, the groundbreaking and award-winning mobile application that connects 19 million Ukrainians with more than 120 government services and dozens of digital documents, has distinguished Ukraine as a world leader in e-government innovation. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion, Diia has also been used as a critical platform for supporting displaced Ukrainians and providing a range of services to those impacted by the war. Built in partnership with the U.S., Diia is now poised to be shared with countries around the world – and Diia in DC will offer an exclusive opportunity to see firsthand how this important tool is helping transform the way people connect with their governments.
