Tesco Insurance and Money Services starts cloud-first digital transformation programme

Tesco Insurance and Money Services (Tesco IMS) has kicked off a comprehensive digital transformation programme, enabling the insurance company to establish a robust cloud-first ecosystem and create improved value for customer. Zensar Technologies has been selected to modernise Tesco IMS’s entire infrastructure, including network and application hosting services and contact centre operations. The partnership will also support Tesco IMS in facilitating a technology carve-out from Tesco Bank, following the sale of its banking operations to Barclays UK in late 2024. Manish Tandon, chief executive officer and managing director of Zensar Technologies, highlighted the significance of the project. "Tesco Insurance and Money Services have a very exciting vision for their business, and we are delighted to have won their trust and confidence in delivering this critical transformation," he said. As Tesco IMS emerges as a standalone entity, Zensar will transform operations and drive efficiencies across all areas.
