Neither this present nor future can exist without education. The education sector stands to benefit from the innovative possibilities afforded by technology, and yet equity and quality have not steered digital transformation in education. As Education’s support to the launch of the Global Digital Compact during this year’s Summit of the Future, UNESCO coordinated and led a multi-stakeholder alliance, convened by the Global Education Coalition, to launch a common framework to shape more sustainable, humancentred, holistic and balanced digital transformation of education.
