Subway, one of the world’s largest restaurant brands, has officially opened its new dual headquarters in Miami’s Waterford Business District. The 64,000-square-foot office will be at 1000 Sub Way (1000 NW 57 th Court renamed) and features the first-in-Subway-history Innovation Center and Mock Restaurant as well as multiple collaborative spaces and premier fitness center. The Innovation Center and Mock Restaurant will serve as a “think tank” for food innovation, allowing employees to collaborate and experiment with the culinary team on new sandwich products, sauces or proteins, the company said. Subway serves made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, salads and bowls to customers across more than 100 countries in nearly 37,000 restaurants every day. “Opening the new Miami headquarters marks a significant milestone for our company and reaffirms our commitment to enhancing the workplace experience for our employees,” said Bill Ekstrom, Subway Director of Business Services. As the building’s largest tenant, Subway occupies two and a half floors across six, seven and 10, offering views of the city.
