Standard Chartered and SBV accelerate help for women integrating with digital transformation

On March 10, Standard Chartered Vietnam and the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) co-organised the conference themed “Banking women integrating with digital transformation” in Hanoi. The event attracted women leaders in the banking industry, and representatives from the SBV, Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Vietnam Women’s Union, International Finance Corporation, and the Australia Ambassador to Vietnam. The event provided updated information and trends in digital transformation locally and internationally, as well as solutions to challenges to women in the banking industry. The conference was held under activities for the Minutes of Cooperation in gender equity between the SBV and Standard Chartered, aiming to provide global perspectives on women leadership and skills upgrading for women, and Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) best practices and experiences. In the opening ceremony, the Green & Blue Choir of Standard Chartered performed, expressing the talents and team-spirit of the bank.
