Sinar Mas , a conglomerate that oversees various business sectors in Indonesia, and LG CNS , a leader in digital transformation from South Korea, have launched their business collaboration, LG Sinar Mas, a joint venture that provides cutting-edge information technology (IT) solutions and services across Indonesia. LG Sinar Mas said in a statement on Tuesday that the first project to be undertaken by LG Sinar Mas is a data center in the Central Business District of Kuningan, South Jakarta. This data center will be the first to be ready for artificial intelligence (AI) integration. The project is expected to be valued at approximately IDR 10.7 trillion ($700 million) and is expected to be completed by 2027 on an 8,516 square meter plot of land, with the target users being Korean companies, particularly in the banking sector, as well as companies under the Sinar Mas umbrella.
