The Morris/Sussex Vicinage will host a virtual job fair for probation clients and recovery court participants Jan. 31 at 10 a.m., the New Jersey Superior Court announced. During the program, representatives from Amazon, Dunkin, the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Sussex County Community College, Atlantic Health System and the United States Army will discuss employment and/or educational opportunities in the area. For the event, which is part of the Judiciary Opportunities for Building Success (JOBS) Program , the court has partnered with local employers and social services agencies to connect clients and participants with open positions and employment resources. Probation Division Manager Michael Lasko said, “This is a great opportunity to link clients to a variety of career paths offered by employers in our area. We have a strong partnership with our local one-stop career centers, which offer services to improve the lives of our clients while simultaneously enhancing an employer’s ability to meet the demands of a competitive job market. A client’s success depends on a collaborative relationship and support from our community partners.
