Article content Before the recent prorogation of Canada’s Parliament, the government had introduced the Artificial Intelligence and Data Act (AIDA) as part of Bill C-27, known as the Digital Charter Implementation Act. This legislation aimed to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for AI systems across Canada, focusing on responsible development and oversight.
