KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd has opened the Maxis Business Innovation Centre (MBIC), a "digital immersive space to foster innovation and drive digital transformation for businesses.” Located on the ground floor of Menara Maxis, MBIC spans over 9,000 square feet where customers can access an Internet of Things (IoT) lab, auditorium with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology, and co-sharing workspace to collaborate and innovate. "The centre will provide an opportunity for businesses of all sizes and across industries to harness the power of digital technology," it said in a statement today. The MBIC was officiated by Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil. "My ministry has been given the task to drive the digital economy forward in Malaysia as part of our strategic framework and this requires all stakeholders to play their role through collaboration, innovation and knowledge sharing,” Fahmi said in the same statement.
