Luuk van der Heijden

I am a digital consultant, and Arup’s global digital twin programme manager, based in the Netherlands. I focus on helping clients leverage the use of digital twin technology to tackle complex built environment issues such as climate adaptation and net zero. I bring vast experience in digital transformation and digital engineering programmes and have been involved in a wide range of digital twin and digital asset management projects in the built environment. Before joining Arup, I advised clients in the development of digital twins and digital solutions within the energy, manufacturing, and construction industry. I studied civil engineering and construction management and I have a passion for understanding and embedding emerging technologies in the built environment to achieve organisational goals and sustainability ambitions.
