LEAP23: Saudi Arabia accelerates digital transformation with another US$580 million investments

The investment projects designed to accelerate the Kingdom’s digital transformation in multiple fields include the launch of a major new data centre and two dedicated academies to develop the technical skills of homegrown talent, and provide them with the tools of the future. Investment commitments include Ignite from Saudi Digital Council, and from tech companies: Wipro, Zoho, Unity, Damac group and Amazon. Powered by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in conjunction with Tahaluf – a strategic joint venture co-owned by Informa and SAFCSP, LEAP23 has announced a series of new investment and funding programmes valued at US$580 million, following the US$9 billion of investments revealed earlier this week.
