The credit union aims to provide ethical financial products and education for a financially underserved community. It has members in all 50 states and more than $1 billion in assets, according to a press release. Jack Henry will provide its Symitar platform to offer bilingual services such as microbusiness loans and commercial accounts with fintech integrations. The credit union will also migrate its network infrastructure of Jack Henry’s cloud-based platform, which will offer cybersecurity and disaster recovery improvements. "This move is an evolution for LCCU, a result of the success that Latinos have experienced in our communities," Vicky Garcia, president and CEO of LCCU, said in the release. "Jack Henry will allow us to continue to grow alongside our members. We’ll be even better positioned to understand how members use their accounts and offer more personalized products and services — and all in their preferred language.
