Kolon Benit plans to expand its business area by providing digital innovation technologies for manufacturing processes to external corporations based on the smart factory construction experience of Kolon Group affiliates. Utilizing the successful application of smart factory technologies in subsidiaries such as Kolon Industries, KOLON GLotech, KOLON ENP, and KOLON Life Science, it aims to offer optimized digital solutions to external customers. In particular, last year, Kolon Industries improved the production efficiency of the advanced material "aramid" at its Gumi plant, demonstrating the positive impact of data analysis and digital technology on manufacturing process improvement. Through this, Kolon Benit is showcasing advanced DX solutions such as strengthened consolidation of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and manufacturing execution systems (MES), data-driven decision-making, and unmanned process systems.
