John Lewis has partnered with Google Cloud in a deal worth £100 million to boost its digital transformation thanks to the use of artificial intelligence (AI). The agreement, which is a “major expansion” to its partnership with Google since 2012, will result in the company tapping the use of AI and machine learning (ML) to work hand-in-hand with employees to provide customers with more tailored and personalised experiences. Under the expanded agreement, more of the organisation’s technology will also migrate to Google Cloud.
