For me, I started out as a subject matter expert for small business based in Charlotte North Carolina who was teamed up with a large DoD contractor for a project in Jacksonville, Florida. During this employment, I went to my boss Scott Russell and asked him if he would assist me in setting up a business in Jacksonville putting veterans and their family members to work first, and all others second.
