Govt focuses on three regulations to support digital transformation

(ANTARA/Livia Kristianti/rst) Jakarta (ANTARA) – Minister of Communication and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi intends to channel his focus on completing three priority regulations in order to realize optimal digital transformation until the end of his term of office in 2024. "With the remaining 15 months of service remaining, I am pushing to finalize several of these priority regulations," the minister noted at an event in Jakarta on Wednesday. Setiadi remarked that the regulations range from those related to the implementation of 5G network connectivity, ratification of the Publisher’s Rights regulation, to the establishment of an institution for Personal Data Protection. Firstly, in terms of preparing 5G network implementation policies, the ministry will focus on providing support in the form of improving policies, including neutral technology, spectrum transfer or spectrum exchange, spectrum refarming, spectrum leasing, spectrum pooling, and class-licensed spectrum sharing, he elaborated.
