The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP) met with the Italian delegation today to explore potential areas of collaboration. The meeting, which took place at the Ministry’s office in Accra, aimed to foster stronger partnership between Ghana and Italy in the digital technology sector. Key areas of discussion included the “One Million Coders Program,” an initiative aimed at training one million Ghanaians in coding skills, and the “GH Forms Project,” which seeks to standardize government forms and services, making it easier for citizens to access services online. The Italian delegation expressed interest in supporting these initiatives. Cybersecurity was another critical area of discussion, with the Minister emphasizing the need for robust policies to enhance national cybersecurity frameworks.
