THE Cebu IT BPM Organization (CIB.O) will bring back the industry’s signature event, the “2023 Digital Transformation Summit,” in a face-to-face format on May 26, 2023. In a media briefing on Thursday, May 4, Darwin John Moises, Summit Committee chair, said they have invited international and local experts in the fields of Digital Transformation, FinTech, Global Shared Services, Artificial Intelligence, and other crucial and sought-after topics that require discussion. He said the event aims to spearhead the continuing growth of the IT-BPM industry in Cebu following the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and natural calamities. Moises said CIB.O is inviting all major industry players from the government, academe, support industries, and locators across Asia Pacific to join them in the summit, which will be held at Cebu City Sports Club, Cebu Business Park in Cebu City. “What is also unique about this transformation summit this time is the first part will be the Hackathon, and we also choose an afternoon to evening session for us to be inclusive for different shift schedules for the people working in the industry,” Moises said.
