Ericsson Opens 5G Innovation Hub in Indonesia to Drive Digital Transformation

Ericsson has officially opened a 5G innovation hub at the Centre for Digital Industry 4.0 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The centre is a government agency under the Ministry of Industry, responsible for accelerating the country’s digital transformation efforts. The 5G Innovation Centre aims to foster collaboration among various industry players and create innovations for Industry 4.0. Ericsson’s partnership with the Kepala Pusat Industri Digital 4.0 (PIDI 4.0) agency will be crucial in supporting Indonesia’s Making Indonesia 4.0 ambitions and nurturing digital talent. PIDI 4.0 serves as a technology matchmaking hub for local companies, and it anticipates that collaboration with Ericsson and other partners will optimize the use of the 5G centre through the PIDI 4.0 ecosystem. The Ministry of Industry acknowledges the importance of digital transformation in driving economic growth in Indonesia.
