Ericsson has unveiled insights emphasising the growing impact of 5G on connectivity , user experiences, and digital innovation in the country. November 2024 Ericsson Mobility Report forecasts that, despite economic challenges, the growth trend of 5G will continue to rise, with global 5G subscriptions expected to reach 6.3 billion by 2030, accounting for 80% of mobile data traffic. In the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, 5G is projected to represent 60% of subscriptions by 2030, positioning Türkiye as a vital market poised to harness the full potential of 5G advancements .
