Digital Transformation – file CAIRO – 27 March 2025: The Egypt Digital Platform continues to make significant progress in providing government services electronically. The number of services currently available has reached 182, while the number of citizens registered on the platform has exceeded 9 million users, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The Ministry is working to launch more services in the coming period, while restricting some services to the platform only. This step aims to encourage citizens to embrace digital transformation and reduce reliance on paper transactions and traditional transactions. The Egypt Digital Platform has begun gradually providing its services as part of a comprehensive government plan for digital transformation, aiming to simplify procedures and save citizens time and effort. The currently available services include several areas, such as documentation, supplies, traffic, courts, social insurance, and commercial registry services.
