In a move aimed at bolstering digital transformation across the Middle East, e& has announced a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a major player in cloud computing. This agreement comes as AWS continues to expand its presence in the region, following the launch of its second Middle East cloud region in the UAE in 2022. It is part of a US$5 billion (AED 20 billion) investment earmarked through 2036. The partnership, valued at over US$1 billion (AED 3.7 billion) over the next six years, is set to accelerate innovation in sectors ranging from healthcare to finance.
