DPP Renson Igonga wins best CEO award at 2025 digital transformation public sector awards

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Renson Igonga, has been named the best Public Service CEO at the 2025 Digital Transformation Public Sector Awards in Mombasa. This prestigious recognition comes as a result of his efforts in driving digital innovation within the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). The award was presented by the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication, and Digital Economy, William Kabogo, during the ceremony on Friday, February 28. “We are excited by the digital transformation, and I assure you the ODPP will be at the forefront of embracing the digital era,” said Igonga. A testament to digital advancements Igonga was ranked second out of six nominees in his category, following an evaluation by a panel of judges drawn from both the public and private sectors.
