Daily News Egypt honoured e-Finance Investment Group as the most influential player in digital transformation and financial inclusion. The award was received by Yasmine Rashid, Group Head of Marketing and CSR, on behalf of Mr Ibrahim Sarhan Executive Chairperson of e-Finance Investment Group. The inaugural Daily News Egypt annual summit and DNE Awards were held on 15 March at St. Regis Cairo Hotel. The award comes in recognition of the company’s major role in the automation of government transactions through its various arms, especially the electronic invoice system that it launched through its subsidiary, “e-Tax”, and its role in the automation of transport services, logistics, and archaeological sites. It also played an influential role in the process of supporting financial inclusion through its subsidiary, “e-Cards”, which provides technological solutions for digital banks, as well as magnetic cards. The DNE Awards & Summit were held under the auspices of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board (ETPB).
