A number of organizations have formed that promote women’s contributions in the technology field, with a focus on developing career paths, technical expertise, visibility within the field, and more. In fact, at Acceleration Economy, our parent company’s annual Summit North America event hosts a Women in Tech track that brings together female leaders from the Microsoft business applications ecosystem to network with other women as well as learn from empowering messages and discussions. I was privileged to play an organizing role in that gathering in the fall of 2022. So, I was excited when I recently had the opportunity to connect with a leader from another organization helping to advance women’s contributions to the technology sector: Women in Process Mining , or WIPM. This organization provides a community for women to strengthen their leadership skills, learn more about process mining, and amplify their influence.
