Dominic King, owner of Mai Thai restaurant in Capitola, is one business owner who’s facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage. "It’s not just the incident itself, but it’s the how long the rebuilding is going to take. We’re going to have to be closed for a while," said King. King’s business is a family-owned restaurant that his mom opened up 14 years ago. This is the first year the business is being passed onto him, and he said it’s overwhelming to think about what lies ahead and how to pay for it.
