Key Points Based on the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care, 456,000 people worked in the aged care industry in 2024. According to Sy, being a good chef also has its benefits considering the wide scope of work they can do from hosting private events, and launching fusion cuisine, among others. Thanks to the caring nature of Filipinos particularly for the elderly, Sy says Filipino- Aussies are well-poised to put up their own Aged Care service.
