B20 Digital Transformation Task Force recommends easy finance for MSMEs, harmonising cybersecurity frameworks across G20 countries

Rajesh Gopinathan NEW DELHI: Micro, small, and medium enterprises ( MSMEs ) should be given access to sustainable finance amidst favourable regulatory framework to facilitate their digital transformation , and promote digital trust by harmonising cybersecurity frameworks across G20 countries , recommended a B20 India task force Friday. “Our key recommendation is to ensure that we provide sustainable and easily accessible finance to the MSME sector to ensure that they are able to invest in digital transformation, and we create enabling foundational platforms that are globally recognised and sector-specific,” said B20 India Task Force on Digital Transformation co-chair Rajesh Gopinathan . He added that “access to accelerated, universal, high quality, reliable, future-proof connectivity” is going to be critical to ensure digital penetration and drive sustainable growth across communities and regions. He was speaking at the B20 Summit India organised by CII.
