Money matters: The AV empowering digital transformation at Aloqabank

Case Studies Sophistication and collaboration combine to create true digital transformation at Uzbekistan’s most modern bank. Reece Webb explores. Ubekistan has experienced strong economic growth of late. This growth is reflected in the recent leap of technologies in the country, and the banking sector is no exception to this. Aloqabank forms an essential link to Uzbekistan’s IT sector providing banking services to the country’s IT companies, and supporting IT projects. To support this growth, Aloqabank has opened a new building with the aim of combining its activities with the Ministry of Digital Technologies, a range of IT companies, as well as government departments. This upgrade is the largest-scale project in the banking sector ever attempted in the country, requiring an innovative and high-scale AV installation that would enable the bank to deliver sophisticated services to its clients with ease, both on and off-site, while also delivering leading facilities for its staff and analysts. To achieve this goal, Aloqabank turned to systems integrator, Polymedia Uzbekistan to deliver an AV system that would deliver information to visitors in all areas of the bank. The system also had to deliver accurate analysis of banking business processes, monitoring of corporate infrastructure and security […]

Diagnostic decision support (DDS) systems and generative AI solutions, each used by approximately 16 percent of doctors, dominate current AI applications, assisting in diagnostics, risk assessment, and patient communication. However, this uptake still represents a minority, highlighting a major underutilization of AI’s potential in healthcare. The findings indicate that AI can reshape […]

What is digital transformation?

What is digital transformation?

I just did a search for papers on digital transformation and was surprised that I got a whole load of results from every single tech company out there addressing the question: “what is digital transformation?” ( a question I have blogged about a lot ). As someone who has been doing this his whole life, my simple definition is taking an analogue company with digital on top to change into a digital company with analogue on top. There’s obviously a lot more to it than that – after all, it is a complete reconstruction of the whole company’s business model, as I’ve written about often – but the basics are changing the core of the company from physical to digital. Nevertheless, I thought readers of The Finanser might find it interesting to see this collation of definitions and papers from some of the leading companies in the world. Accenture https://www.accenture.com/gb-en/insights/digital-transformation-index Digital transformation is the process by which companies embed technologies across their businesses to drive fundamental change. The benefits? Increased efficiency, greater business agility and, ultimately, the unlocking of new value for employees, customers and shareholders. Many different paths lead to digital transformation and each organisation’s journey will be […]
