RBI wins Digital Transformation Award 2025 for Sarthi and Pravaah initiatives

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has received the Digital Transformation Award 2025 for its digital initiatives, Sarthi and Pravaah. Sarthi enhances internal workflows, while Pravaah improves regulatory applications. These systems have modernized the RBI, increasing efficiency and transparency. Led by Shailendra Trivedi, these efforts underscore the bank’s commitment to becoming agile and future-proof. RBI The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been recognized with the prestigious Digital Transformation Award 2025 by Central Banking, London, for its digital initiatives, Sarthi and Pravaah. These systems have modernized the RBI’s operations, making it one of the most digitally advanced central banks globally. Sarthi, launched in January 2023, digitized internal workflows, allowing secure document sharing, enhanced data analysis, and improved record management across RBI’s sprawling network of over 13,500 employees in more than 40 locations, according to RBI release. Following Sarthi’s success, Pravaah was launched in May 2024 to digitize external regulatory applications, improving efficiency and transparency for over 70 different regulatory applications.
