Aero Vodochody, the Czech Republic’s largest and one of the world’s oldest aircraft manufacturers, has announced its adoption of IFS Cloud to streamline operations and enhance competitiveness in the aerospace industry. The integration of IFS Cloud with Siemens’ Teamcenter product lifecycle management (PLM) solution marks a significant step in Aero’s digital transformation journey. This collaboration aims to transition Aero towards paperless production and assembly, leveraging advanced digital twin technology and visualization tools. These solutions will provide shop floor employees with digital work instructions, simplifying approval processes and improving operational efficiency. The implementation will standardize processes across Aero’s operations, aligning them with global best practices.
