Microsoft has signed an agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, to identify and enhance investment opportunities in digital transformation across Latin America and the Caribbean. The partners intend to focus on sectors such as mining, energy, smart cities, transportation and public services with a view to enhancing sustainable development and technological innovation throughout the region.
