Irish digital transformation firm Version 1 has opened a new technology hub in Birmingham city centre. Greater Birmingham Chambers chief executive Henrietta Brealey (centre) joined Enda Diggins and Emma Mitchell from Version 1 to open it A new technology hub which is creating hundreds of jobs has officially opened in Birmingham. Version 1, which specialises in digital transformation, has launched the base at 31 Temple Street which is expected to house around 500 staff eventually. Enda Diggins, Version 1’s managing director for digital, data and cloud, joined UK portfolio director Emma Mitchell and other dignitaries for an opening ceremony. Mr Diggins said: "We could not have chosen a better location for our new technology hub and are very excited to be officially opening it earlier than expected. "Not only are we closer to our existing customer base but here we have access to some of the best technology talent that the UK has to offer and, with our own digital skills academies opening later this quarter, we can offer our customers the best expertise, locally."
