Gambia holds validation of National Digital Transformation Strategy

01.12.2023 LISTEN The Gambia, in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy (MOCDE), proudly announces validation of its groundbreaking Digital Transformation Strategy and the Digital ID Strategy that has culminated in over 9 months of work. The validation will take place on the 19 th to 20 th December in the Gambia. The validation workshop will be a significant step towards modernization and inclusive development and marks the culmination of collaborative efforts between the government of The Gambia and UNECA. The comprehensive strategy is poised to propel The Gambia into a new era of digital innovation, fostering economic growth, social inclusion, and government efficiency.
