A scene of the iconic Tyne Bridge has pride of place on the front of the new Tasty by Greggs cafe Greggs is ramping up its tech transformation with the creation of new 20 jobs within its technology team. The new jobs are being created at its Quorum Business Park headquarters in Newcastle, where it is making significant investment into technology to help boost ways in which it connects with its customers. The digital transformation at Greggs, which now has more than 2,300 shops and is targeting a further 700 openings, involves investment in all areas of the business, including the Greggs App, website, shop systems and its supply chain. The food-on-the-go baker is seeking people who can take up specialist roles including flutter developers, front end web developers, agile delivery leads, testers and dev-ops engineers. Greggs has significantly grown its internal development team in recent years, bringing outsourced roles back in-house.
