HYDERABAD: The Indian Institute of Technology , Hyderabad (IITH), is at the forefront of digital transformation and digital literacy, IIT-H director BS Murty said. Participating in a panel discussion on ‘Digital Transformation & Digital Literacy’ organised by Akashvani, Regional News Unit (RNU), Hyderabad, Prasar Bharati, in association with IIT-H, Murty said the institute has taken up various digital initiatives such as establishing a centre such as TiHAN, 5G & 6G via homegrown WiSig, hybrid classrooms and open-to-all-teaching (OAT) among others. “Digital transformation at IIT-H is transforming the paradigm of digital literacy in the educational ecosystem,” said Murty and added that this event too stands as a testament to the power of collaborative knowledge sharing. The event, held in hybrid mode, saw participation of various professors from the institute who delved into the significant aspects of ongoing digital transformation, exploring its opportunities, challenges and strategies to create a more inclusive digital landscape.
