PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed fiber internet tycoon Dennis Anthony Uy as his special envoy to Korea for digital transformation. The Presidential Communications Office announced the appointment of Uy and other government officials on its official Facebook page. Dennis Anthony Uy, Converge co-founder and chief executive officer Uy, founder and chief executive officer of broadband giant Converge ICT Solutions Inc., earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Holy Angel University in Pampanga. He launched his first business while still in university, and throughout his entrepreneurial journey, has built a number of successful businesses in the telecommunications and related sectors.
