Some schools have fully embraced technology, utilising its potential to revolutionise teaching and learning; however, others haven’t Whilst this revolution is taking place for some schools — others are still exploring the possibilities it offers. At one end of the spectrum, you’ll have schools that have embraced the benefits of technology. They already have robust connectivity in place, high bandwidth broadband and are looking to replace on-premise servers with cloud alternatives. Then at the other end, there are schools that are only just starting to investigate how advances in technology can help them do things differently and the potential benefits it could bring for staff and learners. It’s easy to feel daunted by the prospect of digital transformation. However, put simply, it’s about making changes and empowering school leaders and teachers to think creatively about how technology can help them make a positive impact to overall student outcomes.
