Senior Project Manager, Digital Transformation

OFFICE OF THE VICE-PRESIDENT (TEACHING AND LEARNING) Senior Project Manager – Digital Transformation (PR0816/22-23) Reporting to the Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), the appointee will be responsible for planning and overseeing the implementation of digital transformation initiatives with the aim to enhance users’ experience, improve operational efficiency, and facilitate data-driven decision-making to achieve the Vision and Mission of the University. Responsibilities : Lead and supervise a team to implement the Student Lifecycle Management System (SLCMS) and other teaching and learning-related projects under the University’s digital transformation initiative; and act as the major liaison person internally and externally for such projects; Be responsible for the tendering and procurement processes of the SLCMS; Assess, consolidate, and validate the user requirements from concept to execution, develop fit-for-purpose processes, data management systems, and cater information/reporting needs; Work with user departments and the Office of Information Technology (ITO) to devise a plan for the incorporation/integration of the existing systems; Work with internal parties and external consultants/contractors on the user specifications, design development, testing, and user training for the SLCMS and related digital transformation projects and system enhancements; and Monitor outsourcing contractors’ performance to ensure quality, timeliness, and fulfillment of the user requirements within budgetary constraints.
