Agile Digital Transformation for Aviation Business

The aviation industry in India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing industries in the country during the last three years. The industry can be broadly classified as: Scheduled air transport service which includes domestic and international airlines, Non-scheduled air transport service which consists of charter operators Air taxi operators and Air cargo services. Domestic traffic constitutes around 69% of the total airline traffic in South Asia and India’s airport capacity is expected to handle 1 billion trips annually by the end of 2023. Additionally, the Government of India has plans to increase the number of airports from 141 to over 200 airports by 2026 with an additional investment of 98000 Cr. While the Aviation industry has fully recovered from the impact of COVID in terms of Air traffic, the pandemic had a deep impact on the aviation industry and made it imperative for it to get on the path of using technology to streamline operations, use data for real-time insights and have an action-oriented approach, however moving on this path is not easy.
