‘My opportunity to spread positive energy’ | Roosters Coffee Co. a dream turned into a reality

(Staff photo by Sharda James) TEXARKANA, Texas — Roosters Coffee Co. — a sunny, bright yellow, locally owned, drive-thru-only coffee shop — has been open for six months. Roosters Coffee sells a variety of beverages to fit the taste buds of just about anyone. The drive-thru spot sells espressos, coffees, fruit smoothies, teas and breakfast foods, from house-made burritos, to bagel sandwiches, to a variety of pastries. Owner Jennifer Wittman, originally from Washington State, was inspired to create her own coffee shop after working as a barista there. Typically, when you think of a coffee shop you might think of an establishment where you can go inside and sit down. This unique business brings something different to Texarkana. "Coffee stands are very common in Washington, and I’ve worked at a ton of them. You’re combining convenience and a positive experience to spread good vibes.
