Nike employees report layoffs on social media

Several Nike employees took to LinkedIn Tuesday to say they were laid off from the footwear and apparel giant. Nike (NYSE: NKE) did not immediately reply to a request to comment on the layoff reports, including how many jobs were cut and in what departments, but several LinkedIn posts say talent acquisition was one department affected. “Hard to find the words … but like many other amazing people lately, I was #laidoff from #Nike yesterday. If you have followed me or worked with me at all, you know how much I love my career and what I GET to do,” Jordan Ingram posted.
