Increasing the use of Digital, Data & Technology (DDaT) in the public sector has been a long-term goal of the government to overcome the citizens’ modernisation pressure. UK Public sector organisations are expected to entirely digitise their essential services, but what challenges prevent them from taking strategic steps towards full digital transformation? UK Public sector organisations must catch up in achieving the ‘high-profile’ digital challenges. They are under immense pressure from the rising digital expectations from citizens as well as the operational pressure caused by spiralling costs, legacy systems, and interoperability challenges. Amidst the chaos, CloudSource , an expert GovTech business specialising in providing Digital Transformation, Strategy, and Delivery services to UK Public Sector Organisations, surveyed a selected audience of public sector organisations to better understand the challenges and pitfalls organisations are facing in their digital transformation journey.
