Edwards Lifesciences, a medical technology firm based in Irvine, California, has unveiled its digital transformation project for its conference center, which emphasizes digital signage, according to a press release. The project included displays from Christie, a digital signage firm, and partnership with Sound Image, an integrator that provided specification and integration service, along with Plannet, a technology consulting and delivery firm that provided design support. The installation features two front-serviceable 16-by-nine foot Christie LED 1.2mm video walls, powered by a Christie Spyder X80 image processor and including redundant Christie E600 controllers. The video walls support optional remote power supply and are compatible with 4K (at 60 hertz) and HDR10, with built-in Clearview technology and low-brightness enhancements. Seating up to 126 people, the system integrates a microphone at each seat, along with six cameras at the front of the room and two at the rear, with support for auto-tracking and multi-window conferencing.
