CARLSBAD Medical manufacturer raises $3,000 for nonprofit Henry Schein Orthodontics, a medical equipment manufacturer, held a two-week holiday fundraiser that resulted in a $3,000 donation to the local nonprofit San Diego Youth Services, which provides families with safe places to live and long-term housing solutions and support. As part of the company’s “Holiday Cheer for Children Program,” more than 45 “Team Schein” members created personalized ornaments for the tree in the office lobby. For each ornament crafted, Henry Schein Orthodontics donated $50 to San Diego Youth Services. “Holiday Cheer for Children” is an initiative of Henry Schein Cares, the company’s global corporate social responsibility program.
