Muscat – To accelerate the implementation of the government’s digital transformation programme (2021-2025) across governorates, Dhahirah Governor’s Office signed four agreements in the field of digital transformation with several firms on Monday. The agreements aim to achieve better quality and more efficient local electronic services in the governorate. The first agreement is for the development of an electronic services portal for Dhahirah, which will improve the electronic services available to citizens and residents in the governorate. It will also provide a central platform for obtaining government information and public services in an easy and effective manner. Under the second agreement, a project will be implemented to simplify procedures with the aim of improving operational efficiency and simplifying government procedures. The third agreement will help improve technical infrastructure and develop it in the governorate in line with the requirements of the modern era, and meet the needs of government agencies and the local community. The fourth agreement will see installation of an advanced communications network to provide the necessary technologies to support artificial intelligence, cloud computing and universal Internet technologies in the governorate.
